Although she came to Saunders in 2009, Whitney Fairchild's background and experience in Hamptons real estate go back much farther than her official tenure in the business. Her mother was a partner in Allan Schneider Associates, and her father has long been a successful local investor and developer. Whitney herself designed her home in Bridgehampton and has bought and renovated several houses and apartments both in the Hamptons and New York City. Whitney spent many years as a vice president of design for Ralph Lauren, and she credits her fashion background with developing her strong aesthetic sense. She believes that among the special talents she brings to real estate are "Taste, knowing what to buy and when to buy it." Whitney likes to take advantage of all the area has to offer. She enjoys playing tennis, paddle tennis, surfing and spending time with her two sons.
