With career-long experience in the client service business, and as the former owner of an optometry practice, Wende deeply understands the need to be ?all-in? in terms of her commitment and focus on fulfilling the needs of others. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Wende holds several degrees that include a Doctor of Optometry, Master of Public Health and Master of Science, all from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to optometry school, she worked heavily in sales and marketing. For the last 10 years before moving to New York, Wende was a practicing optometrist in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She has become fully entrenched in the NYC landscape and is an active member of her Flatiron/Chelsea community. Wende also resided on the Upper East Side and has extensive knowledge of all Manhattan neighborhoods, which she loves to share with her clients as they explore new places to live.

In her free time, her favorite activities include attending live music performances and theater, as well as photography, volunteering, and strolling the city with her dog by her side.
