Born and raised outside of Boston, Vernon graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a B.A. in Legal Studies. He worked in restaurants on Martha's Vineyard during his summers throughout college, and ultimately advanced from a server to an award-winning general manager at Danny Meyer's acclaimed Union Square Hospitality Group. Vernon managed several of his highly-regarded restaurants including Union Square Caf? and Eleven Madison Park. He was also part of the original management team of the first Shake Shack and contributed greatly to their explosive international growth.
A longtime resident of the East Village, Vernon additionally enjoys homes in Midtown East/Sutton Place and Beaverdam Lake, NY in the Hudson Valley, and knows these areas extremely well. His absolute love of multiple neighborhoods and involvement in renting, renovating and purchasing inspired his passion for real estate as a salesperson and an investor. Vernon is also an active member of his community as a volunteer at The Boy's Club of New York in the East Village and board member of the local tenants association.
