She was as a distinguished Special Education teacher, coach, program director, and Dean for Achievement First middle school in Brooklyn. Real estate melds her experience and passion for education, creativity, inspiration and lifelong love of learning. Mairys happily specializes in residential rentals and sales in Northern Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan.

Her parents came from the Dominican Republic to Brooklyn where Mairys was born. Mairys was schooled in New Jersey, and went on to earn a BA in Journalism from Penn State University. She also holds an MS in Special Education from Hunter College, graduating with a 4.0 CPA.

Over the years, Mairys has lived in the East New York, the Financial District, Midtown, Williamsburg and Bushwick. She speaks fluent English and Spanish, and is a singer/actress who loves to perform.
