Veronica Newton is a full service real estate professional who loves to help clients find the right home or investment property. A resident of New York City for over 20 years, Veronica has extensive knowledge of the neighborhoods of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. With a varied background in real estate, technology and art, Veronica leverages Compass’s tools to give her clientele crucial information.

She is delighted to be part of the David Booz team. Her real estate practice is enriched by her comprehensive list of contacts from the worlds of law, finance and art as well as her marketing, selling and negotiation skills.

In a dual role, Veronica had the pleasure to work with the Woodner family both in their residential real estate development business as well as their world class art collection. She worked closely with the owners, assisting in their day-to-day running of the real estate business. For the family art foundation, she simultaneously served as assistant curator.

Supporting the community through charitable work is one of Veronica’s principal values. Outside of work she has helped raise thousands of dollars for hospitals, cancer research, cancer patient support programs, theaters, and meditation centers.

A classically-trained theater artist, Veronica studied acting in London as well as graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico. She uses her vocal skills as an audiobook narrator and podcast host.

Veronica now lives in Brooklyn with her husband, trumpeter Arnold Hammerschlag, and their rescue cat “Samantha.”
