Born and raised in New York City, Tarah Young knows its neighborhoods extremely well. At the start of her real estate career in 2010, she quickly moved up to being a Listings and Advertising Manager, and a part of her boutique firm’s executive board within a year. Since then, she has sold, rented and designed luxury properties throughout Manhattan. Her philosophy is to assist clients in finding the perfect place, then maximizing space to adapt to their lifestyle. 

Tarah is a people person who always delivers 5 star service to her clients, while anticipating all of their wants and needs. 

Tarah joined Compass as a founding member of the Upmarket International team at Compass. Her focus will be the neighborhoods of Tribeca, Chelsea, and Battery Park City. 

Outside of the real estate world, Tarah worked as a publicist, helping to organize events for an array of celebrities and well-known brands. She Also worked in investment and corporate relations for theknot.com, and is a former interior designer and contract design manager at BoConcept. In her spare time, Tarah is an active volunteer of Open House New York (OHNY)- a 501 (c)3 organization that promotes a greater appreciation of the city’s built environment.
