Realtors Association of New Mexico - 2017 Realtor of the Year!

Richard Randals, REALTOR from Tucumcari, was honored as recipient of the REALTORS Association of New Mexico’s (RANM) highest honor – being named 2017 REALTOR of the Year. 

Randals received this award during ceremonies at the RANM Celebration Banquet, part of RANM’s Annual Conference, August 24th. The banquet was held at Inn of the Mountain Gods, Ruidoso. 
The RANM REALTOR of the Year is awarded annually to an outstanding leader who has committed time, talent, and expertise to the REALTOR organization, their community, and to furthering the real estate profession. 

Randals is a graduate of the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell and earned a degree in ranch management from Texas Christian University. He began his career in real estate in 2002 and opened his own firm, New Mexico Property Group, in Tucumcari in 2003. 

In 2009 Randals began his involvement with RANM, serving on several committees and as a voice for RANM’s Individual Members – those members whose office is located in a location not served by a local association. He has served several terms on RANM’s Board of Directors, and has been a member of the Legislative, REALTORS Political Action Committee-New Mexico, Strategic Planning, and Credentials Committees. 

In 2012 Randals received the Peggy Comeau Leadership Award. This award is given to a member to recognize his/her loyalty and selfless contributions to the REALTORS Association of New Mexico. 
Richard Randals has participated in a long list of community activities too, including the New Mexico Amigos, New Mexico State Accounting Board, the National Cutting Horse Association, and the Tucumcari Chamber of Commerce. 

Richard and his wife Linda live on the family ranch in Montoya, New Mexico.
